Lifeboat station car wash
17:00
Hoylake lifeboat station this weekend
A car wash in aid of the RNLI's annual fundraising campaign is taking place at Hoylake lifeboat station this weekend. During the event, on Sunday May 17, taking place from 10.30am until 12.30pm, lifeboat crew volunteers will rinse and polish visitors' cars for a suggested £10 per vehicle. All funds raised will support the training, equipment, and kit needed by Hoylake’s volunteer crew during the busy summer season. Last year’s event raised more than £1,700, and this year the crew hope to exceed that total. Those unable to attend the car wash can support the RNLI by taking part in the Mayday Mile fundraiser. Supporters are encouraged to complete a mile in any way they choose—whether walking, running, or skipping—each day throughout May. For more details, visit rnli.org/ SupportMayday .
